On my most current road trip to California with some friends, I had sandy beaches and hours of surfing on the mind – in my case falling off the board. I had trusted that the drive itself, while not the most exciting part, would be an easy six to eight hours. Boy did I think wrong. About an hour into the journey my DVD player gave out on me – I couldn’t even get FM. Not only did I lose the ability to enjoy my favorite artists, but I had to put up with my friends complaining as well. Still to this day, they laugh at me saying something like that could only happen to me. After the quite enjoyable trip, I got on my computer and bought a car DVD player online – surprising inexpensive actually. I love my car DVD player! It is a touch screen with options for CD, FM, AM, aux and a DVD option. When my friends saw that not only are we going to have some tunes on our next surfing trip, but also video, they were very impressed. Now that I have a car DVD player, our moral is back up – way up – for the next trip. I can’t wait to put my brand new car DVD player to the big test.
