I alway get a laugh out of guys I know who go out and buy the best car DVD player or stereo system for their vehicle and forget that the best car stereo system is useless when paired up with inferior car speakers. Great car speakers can make even a ho-hum car stereo sound pretty darn good and when combined with a high performance car stereo good car speakers will blow you away. throw in some really sick car subwoofers and now you are talking great sound from your ride. Just remember your neighbors might not care for your tastes in music and all will be well. The first new car I bought had just a basic AM/FM radio with pathetic speakers. I did not waste any time visiting a local audio store and selecting a kick butt stereo system with the best car speakers they sold. Added an equalizer and power amp and when I rolled out of there I had one serious sound system. The sound was so crisp and clear I preferred my car stereo system over the one at home. Man, that was one sweet sounding stereo set-up.
