My husband and I are planning a trip to Florida with the kids this summer, so I’ve been looking online at portable DVD players in hopes of ordering one to travel with us. The kids are at that age when they pretty much fight all day long, and I can’t imagine being in a car with them for several days having to listen to them fight and yell at each other. My best friend said that her boys used to do the same thing until someone suggested they invest in portable DVD players and that changed the entire traveling experience.
I figure that anything is worth a try and if I can take a few movies along with us for the ride to play on the portable DVD players, it should keep them entertained, plus they will hopefully sleep part of the way. Before we started considering the DVD players, we’d been talking about doing most of our traveling during the night when the boys would sleep simply because we didn’t want to cope with all the fighting in the car. Now with the help of the portable DVD players, we hopefully won’t have to.
