At the end of this month, I’m loading up a week’s worth of clothing into the trunk of my car along with camping supplies and hopefully a portable DVD player for a road trip with my friend to Portland, Oregon. This is one of my favorite cities because of the art and creative influence. There are great breweries, unique shops and an overall laid back feel. Not to mention the scenery in the summer is spectacular. It is about a 19-hour drive from where we are now. Between two people that is 9.5 hours of driving a piece. We are not going to stop until we get there so it is safe to assume things are going to get interesting on the way there.

I’ve started shopping for portable DVD players online. If anything is going to make time pass quick when sitting passenger it is watching a movie. Portable DVD players have really come down in price. While I’m at it, new car speakers wouldn’t be a bad idea either.
